Hi guys,
I'd like to introduce myself with my first post. I'm a Chinese-American currently living near Washington, D.C., where I have grown and spent my entire life. I am really interested in the world of crypto and the future that this technology can mold and create. I love the idea of this platform and have a few ideas of the direction my blog will go. The biggest things I am passionate about are philosophy, sports, cryptocurrency, programming, and hip hop/rap.
One thing I really enjoy is using sports betting as a form of investment vehicle. This was intertwined with my very first crypto experience as I used bitcoin to deposit into an online sportsbook to bet with. I've come a long way since then, both in my knowledge of crypto and of sports betting. I think that there are a lot of resource for learning about crypto, philosophy, etc. but not a lot of resources for learning about sports betting. In fact, you can say I paid my "tuition" to learn because I was practicing a lot of bad habits and losing money at first. I want to start this blog to help people not make the same mistakes I can and help them beat the casinos. I can confidently say now that sports betting can be an investment (albeit a riskier one with higher variance) if done correctly.
In my next post, I will go over the basics of sports betting and how math can help us find bets that will be PROFITABLE in the long run. Thanks for reading this and I hope you stay tuned so I can share my experiences and spread the knowledge I have gained.
