Here is my 11 year old pencil and crayon rendition of one of my favorite Role Playing Games (RPGs) of all time. Final Fantast VII (FF7) follows the story of Cloud Strife, a mercenary fighting to stop Shinra Corp. from using the earth’s essence as an energy source. Along the the way, Cloud and his band of new friends encounter various trials, comical events and dangerous creatures. This eventually leads the party to face off with a superhuman obsessed with destroying the planet, #sephiroth.
As an adolescent, I usually played video games as a means of mindless entertainment. But FF7 offered me so much more. I wrote out battle strategies, training regiments, and even purchased a walkthrough guide. The story was long and intricate without being overwhelming. Lots of optional activities and quests, collectibles and more! What really stood out to me was how relatable the story was, and to be quite candid, the legendary soundtrack composed by #NobouUematsu.

I had the pleasure of attending Nobou’s mind-blowing concerts in 2016 and 2017. They are truly those of grandeur! After composing over 30 different titles, every concert is a show like none other!
