I've started working on possible intro animations for Allonian Seed. This one, which I'm somewhat proud of, was on of the first things to come to mind with the name change and how I described the stone and the effects after it comes in contact with the computer in the story posted (here). Though in retrospect I think it may come across as too organic. The root fibers need to be more angular and maybe hint of a circuit board more than they do in the short animation.
Thankfully, the story and the animation both mark my return to a more active development on this and other games and projects. As you may be aware Allonian Seed is being developed in Godot and funded through Fundition. Beyond this huge undertaking, I've started porting my older game projects to Godot and will have releases for Linux, Mac, and Windows. Android and other platforms might be possible as well, but not all projects will be suitable.
Tutorials
If you follow me here on the STEEM networks many interfaces you know I have taken to teaching my kids a home due to various reasons. In our curriculum we have a game development course. In this course I am introducing and guiding my boys to create their very own games, and if there is a desire for the content I'll start posting my lesson plans and howtos here on STEEM in hope that they will be found useful. If you would like to see this done feel free to leave a comment below.
About
Allonian Seed is (or will be) a free to play Monster Rancher inspired bot building game built around the STEEM blockchain and ecosystem. If you want to find out more about the project or how you can help check out our fundition page here. We are looking for funding and even just a dollar will go a long way to making the game a reality.
