So if you're a board game nerd you have probably heard of Scythe by stonemaier games If not then what it is is basically an alternate universe game involving mech machines and animal controlling people in 1920's Europa with game lengths around 115 minutes.. You play a fallen hero and you attempt to rise up and control Europa against up to 4 other people. The art is amazing, the pieces are well constructed, the game appears like its going to be a great time. I will make a review post once I get into it with 4 other friends.
This was an impulse buy at the game store while I was buying bitcoins. I had wanted it for a while, but I really, REALLY want Gloomhaven.. This will hold me over until I get myself a copy..
The board is bigger than I expected close to 3X3ft
The playable characters are awesome and well put together. I need to paint them. I need paint first. I will probably play before I paint them though, that's an eventually thing for me and I wish could do it haha, She is a far superior artist than me..
This is the backstory and piece list, Lot's of information. Going to have a bit of a learning curve. I mean.. It's not Catan!
Character sheets, cards, coins, rule and info sheets as well. Lot's going on
Combat, objective, and encounter cards
And bags and bags of pieces
I'm excited to play this game and it will end up happening in the next few days I'm sure. I will let you all know how worth the $80 it is. Have any of you tried it? What are your favorite board games?
Look forward to hearing about a few cool board games that aren't on my radar hopefully! Thanks for looking. And any questions about the game I might be able to answer, feel free to ask!!

Enjoy your day everyone!
