1 BloodRayne 2003 Action adventure
BloodRayne is a third-person action game where the heroine sucks the blood from the neck of a headless Nazi zombie while muttering moans of delight. That pretty much sums up the spirit of this shock-schlock gore fest. Released on consoles last year, BloodRayne now arrives on the PC. It's often sloppy or silly, but it does feature loads of outrageously bloody action. BloodRayne's story is "Grade-A" nonsense. Borrowing liberally from the Indiana Jones movies and, even more so, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, BloodRayne pits you against Nazis who've been delving into the supernatural to find the ultimate weapon of terror.
2.American McGee presents SCRAPLAND 2004 Simulation
In the role of wayward robot named D-Tritus, players visit the asteroid space station Chimera, a place diversely populated by other automatons and full of both danger and opportunity. Futuristic, flying vehicles are a focus of the game, and D-Tritus will win, build, borrow, and steal progressively faster, more powerful rides as he moves through the adventure. Although it would be unfair to dub this game "Grand Theft Spaceship," another essential element of Scrapland concerns the relatively random events that emerge, independent of the main narrative, in its large, freely roamed environments. Similar to Rockstar's pièce de résistance, Scrapland allows players...
3.Commando 1986 Arcade action
Commando has been one of favourite classics since I first got my first computer which was a Commodore 64. This is a conversation from the Commodore 64 format to the PC. To be honest I'm quite disappointed with the result. Not only because the game only runs in CGA graphics but also because the game has gotten some bad changes such as the controls in the game. Before I get back to that I would like to explain a bit more about what the game is about.
4.Clandestiny 1996 Adventure
Written by author Jahnna N. Malcolm, the story of Clandestiny appeals to a broader audience extending to younger players, for whom the terrifying dramas of The 7th Guest and its sequel were not directly targeted. Besides, the presence of cartoon animated characters versus live video sequences using real actors will delight adolescents as well as their parents. However, if cartoon style graphics give you the idea that Clandestiny is just another game specifically designed for children, let me assure you that this is not the case.
5.Heroes of Annihilated Empires 2006 Role playing
From the people behind the reasonably popular "Cossacks" series of games comes a game touted as a true hybrid of RPG and RTS - Heroes of Annihilated Empires, which is dubbed "Chapter 1" obviously hinting that more chapters are on their way in the near future. Based in a fantasy world much like the world featured in just about every other medieval/dark ages era based fantasy game, Heroes of Annihilated Empires does a good job of being a jack of all trades type experience, but like the saying goes, it ultimately winds up being a master of none.
