Playersunknown Battleground has been taking the world by storm but can it be compared to CSGO? Pubg is the #1 top seller at the moment on the steam market even though it is still in early access. here are the Pros and Cons for PUBG.
Pros:
-Fun game if you're into PvP survival.
-Cases are earned in game with in game points earned by playing. Reward can be sold on the Steam Marketplace.
-Really large map (larger than The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion's world).
-100 players per game, including game modes of Duo (teams of 2) and Squad (teams of 3-4).
-Realistic gunplay (bullet drop, winds, penatration etc)
Cons:
-Difficult for new players to Battle Royal.
-The servers are not 100% optimized which leads to crashes, freezes and lag.
-There isn't a huge selection of weapons or items
-Duo and Squad are A LOT harder than solo.
-Players with lower end rigs have an advantage with the very low settings. Exp: You're on high setting hiding in a bush, a player who is on low settings doesn't see that bush but sees you clearly
CSGO has been out for a few years now and its player base still seems to increase daily. It has a massive E-sport following with massive tournaments being held every couple of months. Here are the Pros and Cons of CSGO.
Pros
- One of the best games out there for teamwork, and if you find some friends willing to play it with you, you're set. The game is very balanced
- It has massive longetivity (I've already got 570 hours).
- There are hundreds of community servers with innovative gamemodes for you to try out.
- Trading is an extra aspect to the game, and if you really put your heart into it, you can actually make money from selling cases/skins
- Once you understand it, it is one of the best games to watch professionally
- After 150 Competitive wins you can use overwatch to help ban hackers.
- You get rewarded for successfully reporting hackers in overwatch.
- It's very cheap
Cons
- Reasonably steep learning curve, it may take a while to really start enjoying it
- I guess this is like all games, but sometimes the community can be toxic. If you find a group to play with, then you're ok
- You may end up spending more money on the game for weapon skins.
- Sometimes the valve servers for csgo can be a bit dodgy, but they work most of the time. There's always community servers
- Alot of people try to Scam you for your items. (be careful who you trade with)
- Hackers and Smurfs are part of the game.
Let me know which game you prefer.
