Hyped about the series since I'm playing Persona 5 right now (100 hours in, hopefully I'll make a post about it too,) and the recent news about P5 The Royale. Something led to another and until I saw the lyrics of Persona 3's battle theme.
When I emulated Persona 3 Portable years ago. I couldn't make out the words of the battle theme. I wasn't even sure if the lyrics were in English. But I loved the music of it nonetheless. (I like the rap/speedy feel of it.)
Then I saw this video on you tube:
And I thought it would be interesting to write about it!
I could understand the meaning of the words, and they flow musically together. I don't think it's grammar incorrect, but the song makes me wonder if the one wrote it knows English.
It feels the song, like its music is all over the place. I mean:
Freaked out now, and dead on arrival (What?)
Some of the lines feel mismatching each other, how does "dead on arrival" comes after "freak out now?" I don't understand.
Even though I like the song, I don't fully understand it and I'm not really sure if it's "correct" in English. But then again I'm not native so maybe it's just me. What do you think?
