We've kicked off the new year in Pokémon GO with an Adventure Sync Hatchathon. Image is taken from Niantic's in game news update. It's a celebration for the Adventure Sync feature that was added at the end of October last year. The feature allows you to sync with your tracking app so that your Eggs and Buddy distance can still increase even if you're not playing the game but still walking around.
This Hatchathon the chance to obtain 5 km and 10 km eggs has been increased for as long as the event lasts, which is until January 15. So let's tie our shoes tightly to be ready for long journeys. Hatching those Eggs will be more rewarding as well! As all Eggs hatched during this Hatchathon will give double Stardust and double Candy! Which should apply for Eggs that you incubated before the start of the event. So any of those Eggs with half the distance from the end of the Pokémon GO Holidays 2018 event bonus should get these bonuses too!
When I went out for a Heatran Raid I walked around a bit before the time we agreed to meet on. Then I arrived a few minutes early and talked with the people who were already there too. After the Raid and a bit more talking I decided to go back home. When I was almost home I suddenly saw a Bronzor pop up on my nearby list! I looked where it was and decided I could still walk there and then come back to return home.
There we have it. I managed to catch it with a Pinap Berry and have it register in my Pokédex! Now I'm only missing Finneon from the 5 new Sinnoh Pokémon wild spawns added during the Pokémon GO Holidays 2018. I did hear from someone else that he found it in the wild already. So I'm sure I'll come across it too! I suspect it could be in 5 km Eggs, so I might try to get some of those too. Although I'm currently trying to hatch 7 km Eggs again. I might do only 2 7 km Eggs and then try to spin a 5 or 10 km Egg too.
Which distance of Eggs are you mostly trying to hatch right now?
