The other day the new Special Research quest for Celebi arrived. Which is called A Ripple In Time! Along with it is also a special Johto Festival for a week to celebrate the Johto region where Celebi is from. I'm really excited to start doing these quests!

With the quests for Celebi being live it shows Professor Willow on the small icon for the quests at the bottom of the screen. As you get through the little story with Professor Willow about the new quest and helping him out with the Research. In case you haven't started the quest yet yourself I advise to skip the next part as I have an image coming up with the text that he says and the first steps' objectives.
Professor Willow's monologue in text:
aThunderstruck, you've been such a help in conducting Field Research and Special Research!
I have a feeling that there's so much more about this world that we've yet to discover, and I'm glad I can count on you to see it through.
I've been doing some experiments of my own, and I suspect that I'm onto a further exciting discovery about another Mythical Pokémon that's rarely seen.
Would you mind completing these tasks while I conclude my studies?
Please Power up Pokémon 5 times, Battle in a Gym 2 times, and Battle in a Raid.
So there we have it, the first step for A Ripple In Time. These are easy to do since they're just the first step. One major downside in my region though! Things like this always go live at 10pm in my region, and raids stop around 9pm. So we'd have to wait until the next day to be able to finish the first step.
Really looking forward to what we have to do for these Special Research quests for Celebi. I've been holding on my Wailmer and Swablu candy. Both are from gen 3, and not gen 2, but since they require 400 candy and we had to evolve a Magikarp with 400 candy for A Mythical Discovery I was suspecting we might have to evolve one of them for Celebi. Time will surely tell that as I progress through the quests!
Are you excited for these new Special Research quests?
