The Lush Jungle event in Pokémon GO has finished earlier. In my initial post about the event I included the Fomantis Pokédex registry, but I didn't include one for Tapu Lele yet. I have since caught it, so here is the first one I encountered, its stats and the Tapu Lele Pokédex Registry.
This event had a Special Research, which I'll probably cover in a different post sometime. There was also a Limited Research found under the today view, named Lush Jungle just like the event. I suppose it featured some Pokémon found on Akala Island that weren't featured as wild spawns during this event. But I'm not too sure, as it's been forever since I played on Pokémon Sun & Moon.
Here is a screenshot for the first part's tasks and my encounter reward's stats.
The second part required more walking, but this time there were 3 encounters instead of 1. Here are all the tasks and the stats for the Chikorita, Bellsprout and Gloom that I got.
The third part is basically the same as part 2, but catching more Grass-type Pokémon and using more berries. It gave Foongus, Shroomish and Paras as encounter rewards.
For the last part we feed some of those berries to our Buddy Pokémon and catch many different Grass-type Pokémon. For this last step the encounters were Sunkern, Chespin and Fomantis.
As you could've guessed from the thumbnail, I indeed got a Lucky Fomantis during the event. Here are its stats.
I didn't evolve it yet though! Why? Well it has to evolve during daytime just like Yungoos, but I usually play the most when the time of the day is up to evolve it. Sometimes I launch it throughout the day, but I keep forgetting to evolve it when I do launch it then. 😅 Once I remember to evolve it, I'll try to take an AR photo with it and make a blog post with the Pokédex registry.
It's April Fool's and there will be a small event for the day. Apparently it comes with a Special Research called "April Fools' 2-Oh?-22" as this popped up when I had the game open shortly after midnight.
I'm curious to see what else has to be done during that Special Research, but I'll find that out during the day when I finish the first step.
