Just recently we had the Pokémon Day Celebration event which celebrated annual Pokémon Day as well as the release of the remade movie on Netflix "Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back - Evolution". This event featured all the Pokémon that appear in the movie and made them have increased spawns as I mentioned before and as can be seen with the wild Dragonite in my previous blog post https://steemit.com/gaming/@athunderstruck/party-hat-gengar-and-nidorino-raid-day
In the movie we can see a lot of Clone Pokémon appear too. As part of the event we received Clone Venusaur, Clone Charizard and Clone Blastoise in Raids and Clone Pikachu as a daily surprise encounter from taking a snapshot off any Pokémon. I personally didn't care much about trying to get a 100% of all of these and do many Raids for that. But I did want to have one of them. So throughout the event I was able to find people who were also interested. For Blastoise I didn't take a screenshot of the capture screen because it was raining so we just wanted to catch it as soon as possible and go home afterwards. In this picture you can see all 3 of them, and also the highest IV of the Clone Pikachu that I was able to catch. Eventually I may trade some of these too, perhaps one of them during a Lucky Trade to maybe get a better IV Clone Pikachu.
This event also featured some Party Hat Pokémon as seen in my post about the Party Hat Gengar and Party Hat Nidorino Raid Day. Those two only spawned as Raid Bosses for 3 hours on their Raid Day, the other Party Hat Pokémon in this event could be found throughout the whole event.
We could find Pikachu and Eevee with Party Hats spawning in the wild, and Party Hat Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle as level 1 Raids or in 7 km Eggs and I heard in 2 km Eggs too but I didn't hatch any myself from the 2 km Eggs that I hatched.
As Eevee is one of my favourite Pokémon I tried to trade all of the ones I caught whenever possible to have an increased chance for a 100%, especially if they become Lucky there is a much higher chance to get a 100%. From all the ones I traded I was able to get the following 7 Lucky. From left to right, top to bottom is the first one through the last one I got. For the last 3 I just took the screenshots of them after one another after the event was over. The highest IV one is just above 90%, unfortunately no wild 100% nor from trade. I transferred the lowest IV ones of these Lucky to keep only one. It would take too much storage space if I keep all of the ones I got so I have to let some of them go xD
I didn't do any of the Raids for the Party Hat starters and I also didn't walk out any 7 km Eggs at the start of the event. Some 2 km Eggs that I received during the event I did hatch, but none of them had any Party Hat starters. When the event was getting closer to an end I decided I would hatch a few 7 km Eggs. First I had to make some space for Eggs and walked out like 3 Eggs of 7 km that I still had. When one of them hatched I was really surprised to get this Shiny Cleffa !! That's one more Shiny Baby Pokémon now.
After I hatched that I incubated my first 7 km Eggs that I got from the event. I took it really slow walking those out. That first one I hatched did give me a Shiny Party Hat Bulbasaur ! Which came as big surprise, especially with that Shiny Cleffa from not too long before. Due to really rainy weather I wasn't able to hatch my last 7 kms Eggs before the event ended. Which was my plan to hatch them before and get like 2 or 3 more 7 km Eggs before the event ended, but yeah that didn't go according to plan.
So I ended up with my Shiny Party Hat Bulbasaur, a Party Hat Squirtle and a Party Hat Bulbasaur. But no Party Hat Charmander. Luckily a friend had more than one Party Hat Charmander and they didn't mind trading one to me. As I didn't really have any of these double, except maybe the Bulbasaur since I could keep only the Shiny, I didn't have these to offer in return. They were looking for a good Riolu though so wanted one of them in return if possible. I usually prefer trading Riolu for Riolu to also have a chance at better IVs, but in this case I didn't mind trading one. It actually turned out to be a 3* Riolu after the trade, and the Charmander I got from them as well.
In the next picture you can see the Shiny Party Hat Bulbasaur and then all 3 of the other Party Hat starters that I got. You can see on the Charmander picture that it is traded, because the minimum IV for them from Raids or Eggs is 10 in every stat and this one's HP is only 8. Also in the picture is my Pokémon Storage filtered to all Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle that I have with a costume.
Did you catch any of these Clone Pokémon during the event and/or get some of the Party Hat ones?
