This week I got some new Shinies! During Drowzee Spotlight Hour on Tuesday I actually managed to get 2 shinies. A Shiny Magnemite and then later a Shiny Drowzee as well.
Drowzee Spotlight Hour was a bit odd compared to usual Spotlight Hours. Currently the Searching for Legends event is ongoing and throughout the whole event Incense seem to attract Rock- and Steel-type Pokémon. Which was not turned off during Drowzee Spotlight Hour. So Drowzee had to be mostly caught in the wild and not as much from Incense. I even got an Aggron on my Incense during the hour.
That's how I encountered the Shiny Magnemite. Which is also my first encounter with its Shiny, so that was an exciting encounter! The Shiny Drowzee is my second Shiny of it, with the first being caught last month with Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto. Now I can evolve one to have the whole family. In the next screenshot you can see them.
Yesterday during the Raid Hour I did a few Raids. Not as many because Tornadus is the worst out of the trio to have for attacking, especially because of its lack of great Flying-type moves. Which puts it behind some other Flying-type attackers. Despite that I was still trying to use my daily free Raid Pass for it and also used a few Premium Raid Passes, but not as many as with other Raids. Looking more forward to the Therian Formes of the trio. During the Raid Hour I did manage to get my first Shiny Tornadus!
Its stats are unfortunately not great, but at least I got both Tornadus and Landorus Shiny now! Thundurus will be appearing in Raids starting today, so let's see if I can also get that one Shiny!
