Sorry i haven't been contributing to the community lately. My Computer has been down. As soon as it is up, I will be able to join the Dlive family! Pretty excited about it. Can't wait to display some advanced mediocre gameplay.... Speaking of gameplay, has anyone heard news of the first potential female pro for the Overwatch League? Pretty exciting stuff!
Her name is Kim Se-yeon and she is a South Korean player. Her main is the tank Zarya, and she may join the Shanghai Dragons. This will be huge on so many levels! For one, the Shanghai Dragons need all the help they can get, as they have yet to win a single match within the league. Having an additional tank will add COMP depth to the team. Shanghai is trying to sign 3 additional players, but in my opinion, Kim is the only one that matters.
Having Geguri (Kim's Gamer name) joining the league will clearly pave the way for other bad ass female gamers to make their pro debut. Maybe we will see an all female team emerge within the next season? With this day and age, it's surprising that we haven't seen a woman on a team to begin with. I know there are players out there waiting for their chance at the pros. I hope that Shanghai goes through with the deal.
