The cost for non shiny, non legendary is respectable, the fact that standard 100 stardust for straight trades for pokemon you have already is great cause Its like a gamble for a high CP Pokemon but you still dont lose if you get a garbage CP Pokemon since its 2-4 candies for 100 stardust, even the new Pokedex entry being 20K isn't bad...think about it, 20k stardust vs a flight anywhere to get a pokemon you cant unless you trade with someone who already has lol
