And hello to MSI
My MacBook Pro is about 5 years old now and has been acting up a bit lately. It is starting to feel a bit dated and seem to be slowing down when editing photos and video, so I felt it was time to get a new laptop before I burn this one up and lose all of my data on it.
I thought about getting a new MacBook Pro, but when I was building one out, the price started to get kind of ridiculous.
When choosing a replacement laptop, I needed to get something that would be able to handle the stuff that I wanted to do on daily basis, and also play some video games whenever I get the chance to.
recently started streaming WoW Classic and it got me interested in playing that again, so I have been thinking about messing around with that game every now and then.
Nerdy Specs
NVIDIA GeForce RTX2060 6GB GDDR6
512GB SSD + 1TB HD
32GB DDR4 RAM
This setup should last me a few years. I am going to hook up my HTC Vive VR system to it at soon to see if it can handle that. I bet Gods Unchained looks pretty dope on it.
One thing I am going to miss is the Mac OS. I am not a fan of Windows at all and it is going to take some getting used to for me to try and learn how it all works. The Mac operating system is so much easier to use and runs so much smoother. I really hope that Windows has ironed things out with this newest version that they released.
Anyways, thanks for stopping by and reading about my new laptop. One thing that I do wish that the new one has that my MacBook has is a 4k monitor. Oh well, I will be fine without it. At least I have pretty lights all over this thing.
