Captain's Log - MS Ixania - Stardate 3304/02/10
Once again I find myself missing the good old Moray Ships. Before I got myself a first sidewinder, I visited a underwater colony once or twice as a passengers on one of these. And let me tell you, I just love the ocean. If I ever get to retire, I would really hope to get my hands onto some nice yacht to travel around the seas.
Fortuna let me stumble upon three water worlds with a few of them ready for teraforming. With all those other systems around full of high metal content planets and the nebula in view, I could rellay imagine an outpost out here.
Here a small overview of the system, if there are any interested entrepreneur
In other news CMDR Cypren Mulari made camped back in the nebula for maintance and will be gone for a few days, but I get a regular beacon ping with a little status update now. So I've got company, kind of. In the meantime, my explorations will continue and maybe I will find one of those rare earthlike planets.
No this is definitly not an earthlike. Still nice drifting around those icy rings for a while, imagining navigating a spaceport. Watching out for that stupid autopiloted ships, while trying to squezze myself through the mailslot. I mean this Diamond Back Explorer is at least quite the maneuverable, still I remember the few days I travelled with a Type-9 Heavy. Ohhh boy, after getting crashed by some autopiloted braindead, getting stuck in the mailslot on my day out and then got stuck again while trying to enter another station's mailslot, I lost nearly 10 Million Credits in the span of 5 Minutes. Uhhh, I still shiver thinking about the fact, that my reserves dropped nearly below 1 Million through these shenanigans. Uhh that floating rock looks like a good place to set down and dock...
Yeah the void sickness is still there, better moving on to snap out of it. I guess I will take a tour with my SVR and enjoy a little bit of planetary scouting. Man I still wish to find some geysers or something else beside minable rocks. I mean there was this one time a few days ago, where I picked up the signal from a sattelite, that somehow ended up crashed a few tousand light years from the bubble away.
Well even though the sight of space clouds never gets old and the trip was kinda refreshing, I really need to find some better motives for that camera. Some aliens ruins would be nice, but they are located in another region, so I don't believe I stumble upon interesting spots. Although one could still always stumble upon Raxxala. Yeah I believe in that fairytale, so what? Legends are what makes the cosmos so alluring and its darkness not so scary. Maybe Fortuna is with me today.
CMDR Askon Voidborn Out.
