The next Pokemon Go Community Day event date and Pokemon star has recently been announced. As expected, after a somewhat boring event in September, they have put a highly demanded and rare Pokemon, Beldum as the star. This remains one of the rare Pokemon to fully get enough candy to fully evolve as it takes 125 to get a Metagross. While I have one, it is not powered up as it has been very rare for me to catch and most have only hatched for me from 10km eggs.
This will surely get the community up and moving as it is also a pretty strong Pokemon for battles and will likely get better as they will probably give it an exclusive move to make it more stronger and popular in the Pokemon meta. Given the rumors of the potential launch of a PvP mode in the near future, this will be a great opportunity for resources to prepare for future battles. We also expect for shiny forms to be released and more common during the 3 hours provided for the event. The shiny version is grey with yellow details and actually look pretty good. I will strive to get more than the three to have one for each evolution of the Pokemon.
We can probably also expect for lures to last 3 hours like previous events. As we get closer to the date, we will probably get details as to additional bonuses for playing and the special move we will get for evolving it. I have put this on my calendar given the advance notice to ensure I use the complete three hours to search for as many as I can. I may have to make some space in my Pokemon bag for this! I will keep you posted!
Thanks!
