One of the exciting features of buying the Nintendo Switch game Pokémon Let’s Go, was the fact that it would be able to integrate with the mobile game Pokémon Go. As the game launched, many players started to experiment with this feature. The main feature is that it allows you to send Pokémon from your mobile phone application to the Nintendo Switch. Pokémon will then be released into a zone within the Nintendo game that allows you to view and even catch them to put on your team for the rest of your adventure.
Being one of the features I was most excited about, I quickly started to play the game to achieve this feat. I was surprised to find out that it took a number of hours of gameplay to actually reach the location in the game (Fuschia City) that allows you to execute the transfer. In doing so, I was able to transfer some Pokémon from my mobile game to the switch game. This helped in improving my in-game Pokédex as well as adding some diversity to the team I had been using until then.
The bonus for going through this process was that I received a mystery box in my Pokémon Go game. While I knew what it was due to all of the news, it was pretty cool to see how the implemented the integration. The mystery box is basically a type of incense that allows for the mythical Pokémon Meltan to spawn around you for 30 minutes. It could be used once a week and since it’s original launch has seen the spawn rate increase. This has been helpful as it takes 400 candy to evolve the mountain into it evolved form, Melmetal.
Thanks!
