If you haven't already heard the next Pokemon Go update is here and is starting to be rolled out. If you don't want the udpate to be spoiled than I suggest you stop reading here. Ok now that we got that out of the way the folks over at the Silph Road have released the full apk teardown which can be read here
New Content
If you're looking for new content you maybe dissapointed. From what the silphroad found in the teardown of the apk shows some continuing upgrades to the search function to allow you to search "defender" (my personal favorite addition), "legendary", and "moveset".

Also, as can be seen in the pictures above and below the journal has received a very nifty makeover including a gym item highlight system that shows extra items from gym rank (in yellow) and from your team controlling the gym (team color). I've never really realized what that was indicating until reading these update notes.
Niantic appears to be prioritizing stability updates for these periodic rollouts while they chew on the next major additions to Pokemon GO.

Bugs, Bugs Everywhere!
If you've noticed issues with your pokedex, avatar, attack animations, gym animations, and raid lobby fixes. Unfortunately there are still early reports that the bug fixes for the avatar and raid lobby aren't completely eliminated as some people are still reporting there avatar not showing correctly as well as numbers in the raid lobby not updating as new players join. Niantic has also added "secret" troubleshooting tools for issues such as memory and network that hopefully means they are focusing on these issues as well as a few others.
As a reminder for the full breakdown of the apk you can head over here to the Silph Road or to there reddit post here. As is the new norm I end this post with a question of what is your favorite part of this update or what changes do you hope to see in the near future?
