Any 40K fans here? My friend just got the new Dark Imperium box set in the mail, and it looks amazing.
I used to play 40k YEARS ago, back when the models were all metal, and so damn difficult to put together. The new models are so detailed now, and come in such big pieces, especially these Primaris marines. They look really amazing.
Has anyone played with the new rules? They look really slimmed down, and a lot more manageable. I'm excited to try them out after getting some old models painted up. I have loads of old Blood Angels that sat around unpainted since at least 2001, and I've only recently begun to get into them. I'll share those results when I have more of them finished.
Here are some photos of the new set. I really dig the art, and just the general style of the new marines. I'll give my opinion on the new rules and models as we begin to get into them more over the next week.
