Consoles of this generation are 4 years old and at the beggining of their generation I really wasn’t sure which one I should buy. However , I am really sure, which one is better now.
At the beggining of this article, let me ask a question. Why would you buy a console? I would buy a console, because I want to be sure, that I can run all games for next few years, without upgrading. PC is more expensive and do not argue with me in that, it is. However you can do lot of other stuff on PC, that you cannot do on console…So console = games, right?
In 2013 Microsoft came out with an idea, that consoles are for more than just games. Sony had the opposite idea, that consoles are mainly for games and games are what really matters. Then Microsoft came out with another idea, that you will not be able to lend games to your friends! Luckily they rejected this stupid idea, because Sony made fun of them in many ways…So in 2014 Playstation 4 sold more than Xbox One.
Do you remember when I said, that Sony targeted games much more than Microsoft? Look at this picture, this is how it ends up..
Sony produced so many exclusives game for Playstation 4, that people who own Xbox are mad, because they don’t have that much games to play.. and that's what I mean, you can buy PC to do lot of other stuff, but when it comes down to consoles, GAMES are what matters. Microsoft even made „the most powerfull console ever(Xbox ONE X), but if you don’t have games to play, it is uselles…
However, there is one big thing in which is Xbox better and that is backward compatibility. It is a big deal, because you can play your old game on new device, but that apapparently didn’t help either, which is shame, because Sony would be forced to make backward compatibility too. At the end of the day, if all of your friends have an Xbox, you should pick one, but if they don’t I would rather pick Playstation 4.
