During the weekend (15 Dec 2017 to 17 Dec 2017), Steam has offered a free weekend trial for Homefront®: The Revolution. So I've decided to give it a try since it's free and if I like it, I can get it at 75% off the usual price.
First thing I noticed when I start up the game is that my keyboard went dark. I'm using the Corsair K95 RGB Cherry MX Brown, which has customisable backlight.

As I was saying, my keyboard went dark while playing that game. But I did notice that certain keys had blue light on it. But it wasn't my usual lighting profile at all. My usual lighting profile cycles all the backlight with rainbow colours.
It bothered me like hell, so I closed the game and decided to try and troubleshoot it. But the moment I exited the game, my keyboard went back to normal again (all the backlight came back on with my usual lighting profile that cycles through the rainbow colours). So I figured that it has something to do with the game and decided to google for the issue.
I finally found out that the game actually has CUE (short for Corsair Utility Engine) integrated to it. Which means the game has access to control the keyboard's backlight behaviour. I find this feature very interesting, so I decided to dig deeper into it and I found out that Diablo 3 has also recently added support for CUE integration.
By now, I think I've already stopped playing Diablo 3 for over a year. But after this discovery, I decided to download Diablo 3 and give it another spin! Well, check out the video that I took!
Apologies for the crappy video as I don't own a good phone for the video recording!
