1 - Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
An all out balls to the wall blockbuster spectacle. Featuring a pair of some of the strongest female video game characters ever on a journey through India amidst a civil war on the hunt for an ancient cultural treasure, the Tusk of Ganesh. The landscapes are lush and beautiful and teeming with intricate details. Contender for sure for best looking environments in a PS4 game. Check out my review HERE for more images.
2 - Horizon Zero Dawn
One of the most original games I have played in a long time. Incredibly satisfying gameplay and a not so subtle cautionary tale of the dangers of Artificial Intelligence. This is an Armageddon story that is very timely considering great minds such as Stephen Hawkins and Elon Musk have warned that AI will be the likely cause of an extinction level event if left unchecked. The exceptionally well crafted story is oft overlooked because the game is so much fun and the visuals are a showstopper. It's hard to say which game is prettier this or The Lost Legacy but Horizon is a completely open world. The game world is massive and every square inch of it is stunning to behold. I haven't yet finished my review of this game but it's one of the very best available today.
3 - Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice
A visceral and unnerving journey through a tortured and deeply troubled mind. An independent game that somehow manages to offer up some of the most gorgeous visuals available in this generation of console games. Senua takes my vote as havingthe most photo realistic character in any game I've played on PS4. Check out my review HERE for more images.
So those are my votes for top 3 best looking games. I can't decide which is more impressive but each one deserves credit and I recommend if you are a gamer to try them out for yourselves. If anyone else has any games they think are leading the pack visually let me know in the comments below.
