Today we are going to take a look at the cards Paladin has been given.
This review doesn't concern itself with the viability of cards for constructed, only for arena
The Last Kaleidosaur
disclaimer: Blizzard is yet to say whether quests will be available for arena, so I'm reviewing it just to be sure, but I guess, quests won't be a part of the arena
Even though the reward from this quest is really insane, potentially a game ending card, getting to cast 6 buffs on your minions is going to be very hard in arena. Probably even undoable in most cases.
Score: 3/10
Lost in the Jungle
A one drop that essentially does the same thing as alley cat and that is one of the best arena one drops. So this will most likely be as well.
Score: 8/10
Adaptation
A decent buff card, but with a pretty high variance. Usually there will be better cards to pick.
5/10
Primalfin Champion
Man do I wish this card had better stats because as it is, it's just bad. But I love the effect on this card. In contructed it will likely be good, but in arena, just no.
Score: 3/10
Hydrologist
Now this is a much better two drop then the previous one. Decent stats, good effect. That exactly the thing you want from a two drop.
Score 8/10
Lightfused Stegodon
And here we have another minion that just has stats that aren't good enough. And getting a large number of recruits on board is not something that is easily achievable in arena.
Score: 4/10
Spikeridged Steed
Now this is a great buff. And since it's in paladin, you can always play it even in top decking wars and the value it has, is incredible.
Score: 7.5/10
Vinecleaver
I don't really know how to feel about this weapon. I mean, the weapon itself is good and the effect is decent as well, but the cost. Man the cost is high. Probably a slightly above average card for arena.
Score: 6.5/10
Dinosize
Yo dawg, I heard you like big minions. So here is a tool to turn your recruits into 10/10 minions.
Yeah, that's pretty much it. It's a tool to get a 10/10 for 10 mana (if you count the hero power cost into it), but with an upside of using a minion who has already favorably traded or a small minion that is already able to attack, essentially giving your 10/10 charge.
Good card
Score: 8/10
Sunkeeper Tarim
And now for the Paladin legendary. Sunkeeper Tarim is very similar to the old Eadric, but this time, it effects your minions as well. Not a bad legendary, but there are better one.
Score: 7/10
