Hello and Aloha!
PhantasyHI is my handle and this is the first time I'm blogging about myself. I don't really talk about much but I do like to explore in-depth about video games and their fundamentals. Not necessarily glitches nor exploits, but mostly technical and mechanics that can give oneself the advantage for competitive situations.
I, absolutely, love to play competitive games for fun! Counter-Strike Global Offensive is my all-time favorite as an e-sport. A tactical FPS game that has been running for a long time since its release as a mod for Half-Life, AKA Counter-Strike, back in the late 1990s.

Competitive gaming isn't the only pastime I enjoy. I also enjoy my time with rhythm games, too! I have played a number of different ones like, Dance Dance Revolution, Beatmania IIDX, and Sound Voltex. But, out of these three rhythm games, my favorite is the Beatmania series. A Two-player DJ arcade with seven keys and a turntable for each side, and if you're really up for a challenge, you can try and play with both sides!

Sadly however, this cabinet isn't available to me where I am currently staying. I'm not entirely bummed out about my favorite game not present. Luckily, the local Dave and Busters has a Dance Dance Revolution cabinet so all is not lost. I have been playing this game for about one year as of now and still try to keep pushing for improvement.

Right now, Dance Dance Revolution is coming back from a long hiatus for the North American community, but this is a subject I'll cover for later. For now, I'll link a short documentary about this big comeback: https://www.polygon.com/features/2017/12/11/16290772/the-rise-fall-and-return-of-dance-dance-revolution-in-america
Well, that's enough about me. I'll try to keep up with the blogging while I currently work full-time. If there's any questions or thoughts, I'll be glad to answer them the best I can.
