The artificial game from Esemble Studios that is supported by Microsoft has been successfully attracted the players of the game strategy genre. Age of Empires or in short AOE started the beginning of his career in 1997 developed by Esemble Studios and published by Microsoft Game. AoE has created four game sections and from each section gets expansion packs.
AoE started its series with Age of Empires, a game strategy that tells the story of ancient times from the stone age to the iron age. From the first series of this game teaches us to really be patient build an area and must be sure that the player can be successful in playing. After the success of the first series the Esemble Studios released the expansion package Rise of Rome and then released as a package of The Gold Edition.
After succeeding in the first series Esemble Studios re-created the second series of AoE, and Microsoft launched it Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings in 1997. The series is an improvisation of the previous AoE with better graphics and the addition of a battle system. Some time ago these veteran RTS fans grieve after Esemble Studios creator of Age of Empires, closed in 2009 ago. Microsoft as the owner tried to reduce the sadness of the AoE fans by making Age of Empires online, but the game model does not seem to match the traditional RTS model that we often play, so Microsoft stopped the development of online AoE content on the grounds of expensive fees. But it turns out the Age of Empires trip does not end here. Microsoft suddenly announced the continuation of the Age of Empires series with a very simple title that Age of Empires IV.
The announcement of continued Age of Empires IV is done via twitter, and in the publication of trailer on youtube. In this Age of Empires IV microsoft has established Relic Entertainment as a substitute for Ensemble Studios to develop Age of Empires IV. Relic is a very familiar name among RTS fans. They are excellent developers through the reputation of their legendary works, such as Homeworld, Company of Heroes and Warhammer 40,000 series : Dawn of War. Relic Reveals is very excited to be part of the Age of Empires heritage. Age of Empires IV is not the only Age of Empires project that Microsoft Studios is developing. The publisher had unveiled the Age of Empires: Definitive Edition, the remastered effort of the first Age of Empires game. In addition, Microsoft also has an agenda to remaster the second game and all three.
Age of Empires IV : Definitive Edition is increasingly awaited by fans. Reportedly, Microsoft decided not to release the game in Steam. According to a report from the German website GameStar.de (via PCGamesN), Microsoft producer Jorg Neumann said that actually they also wanted to release it on Steam, but Valve "did not allow it". He added that currently there is still no solution to bring Microsoft's infrastructure (servers and others) to Steam.
