The Basics

In planet coaster, you aim to build a theme-park that will attract people to come and visit. In "Career Mode", the player must ration his/her money, and start a theme-park from scratch. In "Sandbox Mode", the player has and infinite supply of money. This allows you to build whatever you want, whatever the size. (My personal Favorite). This game really gives the player a creative freedom to build any kind of park he/she likes.

Graphics

This game is super easy to run, making it friendly for all types of computers. The graphics have a cartoon-ish look that suites the game quite well... It really reminds me of roller coaster tycoon. And for me, that is a plus. Textures are smooth, not too much or too little detail, and the colors really pop. 9/10 on the graphics.

Building

Building in this game is a little tricky to get the hang of. The controls are kind of "wonky", but you should get used to them in no time. There are tons of props and building bits and bobs to use, and more are being added all the time. This game is a tad different from all other tycoon games, it takes practice to get something exactly how you like it. But all in all, its a great system and i have no problems with it.

Workshop

The workshop allows the player to upload his/her park, download others parks, or download others pre-made creations to use in their own park. This mechanic also allows you to access your friend's park, and help them make any changes they need and vice versa. I thought this was a really cool addition, and i think every good creator should use it.

The Rides

There are plenty of ride options in planet coaster. From water rides, roller coasters, carnival rides, and more. The player can either load in a pre-made ride from planet coaster, or the workshop; or make there own. This is nearly the same as roller coaster tycoon.

Ending

All in all, planet coaster is a great game for anyone looking to burn some time, and be creative. While the game is not for everyone, it is certainly worth a try. I was into games like this as i was younger, so this game immediately came to my attention. With positive reviews, Planet Coaster is for sure, a game to try.
