I guess the only thing going for it is that you could now purchase some of your favorite cards from past sets, but this time, they'll actually be made of good quality card stock.
You see what I just did there?
Anywho, another masters set gets fully spoiled, and as usual... there's absolutely nothing to get excited about.
Even if you pay way below retail price for a box, you will still most likely never break even on your purchase, unless of course you pull a Jace, the Mind Sculptor, and if you pull a foil version, well then... you just hit the fucking jackpot!
With all this being said, please do not waste your hard-earned money buying sealed products, when you could save so much by just buying and trading the single cards you want and desire.
Unless of course you are going to draft, then buying a set of Masters 25 won't be so bad, because you'll be paying for the fun, and exciting experience with friends, and not for the cards you'll most likely be disappointed pulling.
Buying sealed is never a good idea, so please purchase wisely.
Oh, and if you want my personal opinion on an investment front, I wholeheartedly believe that there is no value as it pertains to investing when it comes to any new Magic the Gathering products.
The only Magic the Gathering products that have, and will maintain any investment value whatsoever, are the cards found on the reserve list... and that's a fact!
