The sequel of the first series which is also a free-to-play game released in 2012 for the PlayStation 3 (now closed) will soon hit the Japanese market in 2018. The gameplay is likely to be the same as the first series, where you will act as a pilot who drives the Mobile Suit. You will go out and fix it if your Mobile Suit is damaged or hit.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 will be released exclusively for PlayStation 4 in Japan only. No further information whether the game will be released English version or not.
