Perfect World has invited three Chinese teams to their Major in March, DOTA 2 Asia 2018 Championship. Now Virtus.Pro has also joined through direct invite and includes a second Western squad that is competing.
Virtus.Pro has maintained a very high performance in the Pro Circuit, especially given the fact that they competed in the LAN event in December December with their trainer Ivan 'Artstyle' Antonov standing up to support Aleskey 'Solo' Berezin. Their last event was DOTA Summit 8, where VP occupied the first position after beating Fnatic 3-1 in the Grand Final.

Perfect World Twitter accounts usually post after direct invite is created, but posts on its official website confirm that Invictus Gaming, Team Liquid, Newbee, and Vici Gaming have been invited.
