Today I am going to share about one more ritual.
This is gangor .Gangor celebrated in Rajasthan with a great enthusiasm.
Gangor celebrated by all women.
Specially newly married and girl( who want to marry in near future )
It is saying that girls get a good partner if they worshiped gangor heartily .So they do this very well.😜
Meaning of gangor:
Gana is a synonym for Lord Shiva and gaur which stands for gaur or parvati who symbolizes saubhagya ( marital bliss) .
The unmarried women worship her for being blessed with a good husband.
While married women do so for the welfare , health and long life of their husbands and for a happy married life.
Gangaur starts from holi and continues for 16 days.
Every morning ladies get ready like bride every morning and worshiped gangaur with singing song.
After 8 days they decorate Shiva and parvati with a new dress like bride and groom.
Every ladies held banori .
In the banori they worshiped gauri, singing song , dance , eat delicious food and do a lot of fun .
The ladies decorate their hands by drawing designs with mehandi.
Last day morning every ladies ready in a beautiful manner like this .
At the afternoon they bid the gauri.
