I wrote about this plant before. It was a plant that belonged to a neighbor of mine. He didn't like how the plant was growing.
I was telling him things he might do with the plant. Then he just reached down and pulled it out by its roots and gave it to me. I guess he really didn't like the plant.
I thought the plant had potential. So I fixed some potting soil and mixed in pounded egg shells and a little Azomite.
Well, the plant started to come alive. It got more fuller and became very fruitful.
I made sure this plant had plenty of sun and water. Sometimes we can take things that have been rejected by someone else and with the right attention and care it can really flourish.
This plant just needed a break. It was in a place with less than full sun and was not watered as much as it could been watered.
I'm glad I have this plant now and I'm sure the plant is happy too.
Here is a close up of its fruit. It is very dense with fruit. I really don't know the name of this pepper. I imagine it is a hot pepper.
I know that peppers have a lot of Vitamin C. Of course, if the body is lacking Vitamin C it won't operate efficiently and is prone to disease.
This plant will provide me with a lot of Vitamin C. Of course I won't be able to eat it all, but I can store any unused peppers in my freezer and I will have a good supply.
I also plan on saving its seed so I can grow it again next year.
