Easter

I spent my Easter holidays repairing the chipper.

10 bolts and several splints later, the belt and clutch finally came off.
I had to unbolt the engine.
For that, the feeding chute had to come off, as well.

I don't know why the photos came out so bad today...

Anyways

The garden is looking nice and looks like spring.
Cherry blossom and all.

Voluntary Garlic

In the same spot I grew garlic last year, this came up:

Pulled one out and smelled, just to make sure: It's garlic.
I don't know how this happened. I clipped all the garlic flowers and I am sure, I harvested them all...

And in the other spot as well, but a different pattern (and variety)

These are all bunched up (albeit in 3 different spots).
This does not look like a clove, but a bunch of seeds or something.

I'll let them grow out and blog about the result...
