Growing bigger roses from stem
takes extra work especially if they're from a bouquet. And that's exactly what I have here.
- They're more dry
- Still alive but hard to maintain
What we need is roots, so I googled some alternatives.
- Cinnamon
- Aloe Vera
Luckily we have those a lot. So I tried cutting and sticking these roses to my rose infantry (as I call it)
Here are my beauties!
WHAT I DID
We actually have an abundance of Aloeveras here luckily, so I just mixed enough to some water and put lots of cinnamon powder.
Before planting i just dipped them in and hopefully they'll absorb the moisture.
I planted them after cutting the stems diagonally under a nose (a bump on the stem where leaves grow or a bump with a dark patch that's where potential roots or leaves will grow).
I used the sticky water to wet the soil. And after day 1 I'll continue to water them with aloe cinnamon.
Basically do not know If this will be successful however it would give me a better chance than last time.
Many of my baby Chinese roses from stem have grown a lot. And with my bunny poo fertilizer it's amazingly good now. I hope.
Right here's a picture of my rooting hormone improvisation:
(Basically just researched all this in Google)
Sadly I had to cut these roses up but if they do grow I'll have an endless supply.
I definitely hope it will be successful and I will definitely update.
Till then!
Thank you so much for stopping by I hope you all learned something.
