Today was an eventful day in our family garden! It was finally time to harvest onions and since the work was divided between me and my parents, it was done quite fast.
I didn't take photos from the very beginning so we are starting with half way done yellow onions. After pulling them out of the ground, we cut off the stems before spreading them out evenly to dry for a couple of days.
Here some freshly pulled purple onions. I actually find this process of pulling them out one of the most enjoyable harvests, haha. Other than a few that were not good, it was a very successful harvest which is great because we use a lot of this veggie for cooking, salads etc.
We have this nice spot that is exposed to a lot of daily light and sunshine so we thought it would be perfect to place the onions to dry before storing them for the upcoming months.
After the work was done, I got myself handful of raspberries for a snack! So grateful for those! I also keep checking on blackberries and it seems like they get more color every day which is exciting.
To end this post I want to share these photos of fluffy clouds! Since I have a very clear and open view all around the garden, I always enjoy when sky looks like this everywhere I look. Am I the only one who thinks that clouds like these look like cotton candy?? :D
