Hello and welcome to another gardening post where I want to share some photos I took today. There has been a few changes in the garden since last update - some veggies started to grow which makes me very excited! :)
Our two biggest cherry trees are in full bloom now and they look so pretty. I am looking forward to fresh cherries from the garden!
Small apple tree is finally starting to bloom! For the past two years we only had one apple on this entire tree and funny thing is it grew at the same spot. I am curious to see what will happen this season and if we'll have more apples or the history will be repeated, haha. Pretty light pink flowers from the peach trees are gone already and I feel like I haven't taken enough photos of them.
I noticed a few strawberry flowers...
...and raspberries are growing nicely.
Rosemary is getting so big and I keep saying I'll make a hair spray I saw all over TikTok, that's suppose to help with hair growth but I am obviously procrastinating with it.
Quality of these photos is so bad but I still want to share the growth of arugula and peas! It's amazing to see things growing as a reminder that hard work and patience pays off.
Here are some onions...
Spinach grew a lot and salad also made some progress. I really need to get a blender so I can make smoothies again, especially now that spinach is fresh. We also put some in freezer and I like to make spinach salad. Pre-planted cucumbers, tomatoes and cherry tomatoes are looking good and waiting for their time to be planted in the garden.
In my previous garden related post I mentioned that our pre-planted peppers are still not growing so here's an update on that - there's only one showing up, haha. We'll see if the rest of them will grow or if this is going to be a complete fail this season. On the other hand, blackberries are developing nice looking leaves...
Surprisingly the cat that usually follow me around every time I'm in the garden (my garden guard) was not there today but guess who was? Bella! She was really in the mood for cuddles and I just couldn't ignore her! :) She's gonna have babies again and she's getting bigger every time I see her.
