Changing the Planters

After the intense heatwave and weather, we have been having, (We have had a lull over the past week.) The front planters and hanging baskets have taken some looking after, with constant watering, the 2 senetti's we have in the stone planters have been especially hard to maintain and although still alive, they will need to be trimmed right back for a second growth.

I decided moving forward to buy 2 x dwarf palms and these are at the moment situated next to the senettis. The plan is to relocate the senettis to the back garden and to plant the dwarf palms in the stone planters. I think this is the best way forward as it means an all round display with the palms and only the need to change the 2 hanging baskets for winter hanging baskets when the time comes.

On another note, the shed should be complete today, just need the 6 windows installing, then foam filling any cracks, gaps where possible and moving into situ. Will include photos in the next Garden Project blog.
