His name is Iasen Ivanov. He has a beautiful garden in the Bulgarian village Borika, the birth place of his grandparents, where he spent happy summer vacations as a child. He reminds me of the Little Prince and his one and only Rose, but Iasen is not so little and his flowers are around 300 types from all over the world, yet he cares for them with the same devotion and love, almost alone with a very little help from a friend. When he decided to start growing it, he knew that the soil in Borika is not suitable because of its heavy stony clay structure, so he had brought 20 trucks of another soil and scattered it over. He uses no chemical products so the only way to get rid of the weeds is with his two hands, almost all the time. He knows everything about his flowers, their origin and characteristics, what they need and like and what could harm them. The same is with the bees he cares for too.
