Lots of thunder-rumbles all day.
We have more storms moving through. Quick, hard bursts of rain mostly. I took advantage of one break between cloudbursts to get some updated pictures. There have been some substantial changes.
Zucchini
I chose a slightly different angle to try an highlight how tall they are getting. If they look a little faded, it's because of the heavy cloud cover. Everything looks less vibrant.
Tomato
The actual tomato is about the size of a golf ball. I lost a lot of the early blooms, but there are new ones coming on strong. Several of the branches have reached the second rung on the cage. I'm coaxing them to stay there.
Sweet Banana Pepper
We now have two tiny peppers going gangbusters and at least a half dozen blooms next in line. I had added more dirt to this bucket a few days ago. I think the plant is happy with that decision.
Pole Beans
The beans are going crazy. Vines are everywhere! I've directed a few of the free-floating ones to a support. Never ceases to amaze me how quickly they wind themselves in place.

Peas
The peas are still working on filling out, rather than up, but that's okay. There are some, though, that are tall enough to grab the rigging. Mostly, I'm just trying to get them spaced semi-evenly as they mature. Lots of vines here, too!

Cabbage
There's some discernible growth in cabbage-land! The leaves are noticeably larger and they're increasing in height, too.
Brussels Sprouts
All of the plants are filling out and have gained some more height. I think I'm going to be really glad there are cages to help keep them centered in the bucket. They can get top-heavy fast and it's a bear trying to get a support in place after the fact.
