Okay, I wrote back then that it was the last of them critters I'd post for this month but I went gardening with my husband and he took the ride back home quietly with us. Sneaky beast! I mean cute lil' creeping ball courgette flower feeder. To get a better understanding - please click on the video.
Do you happen to know what it is? The zucchinis have had their time so does the ball courgette so we let some of them go and just took any flower and fruit we could salvage without knowing nor thinking creeping crawlers like this would still be in them. Till we get to go back to the garden (which is probably a week later because we already took a week harvest), I won't be able to bring this guy back. My worry is, I only have one ball courgette flower and at the speed rate of this chewing galore am not sure this only food source would last.
If you happen to know what this is would you also please tell me whether it could also eat the fruit itself just in case the whole ball courgette flower gets totally eaten up?
