I have this little Echeveria Pulidonis plant. Pretty thing with pretty flowers.
This year it started to grow little offshoots. But wait.. the babies want to bloom already? Cool - I thought. Here one of the little ones. Cute, right?
Well, not so cool. They started to grow the flower stem right form the center. So did the mother plant in the same time. That would mean the rosette will not grow any more leaves. And that means it will die.
(Phalaenopsis orchids can do that too - blooming from the center and they are done.)
What's worse, I just cannot propagate it from a leaf like any other Echeverias. I tried many times and nothing. There is a few more little ones growing. If those do the same thing... bye bye Pulidonis.
Such a pity... it is a pretty one.
