I was working on a customers sprinkler system and saw something inside a piece of pipe on the ground. I got all excited thinking it was a praying mantis and reached down for the pipe. Boy did I get a scare! Sure wasn't a mantis!
This is the first time I have seen a scorpion in the area, and to think, I was digging with my bare hands eeeekkkkkk!
I think I will start wearing gloves from now on!
I was lucky this time!
