This, my friends, is a New Jersey garden that our crew has been working on for 10 years. We dig, divide, yell, scream, prune, dig some more, add more plants, take out struggling shit plants. YES! I said shit! SOme plants can be very frustrating if they are planted in the wrong place/environment.
FOr instance, this garden is a very wet place. It's on a bit of a slope, and the client leaves their watering system on WAY TOO MUCH! We advise for less water, but they are just, perhaps, clueless or lazy....but we love them ;0)
THe water flows down to the pool area where it has destroyed the roses. But we don't care for roses (on our Shit list! I suppose that's for another post) especially around a pool....ouch!
ANd now, for the photos! THese photos are all in the upper backyard. I think that it could be mistaken for a public botanical garden (pats on back). It is just beautiful...
(whoops...below...the folded tarp got in the photo)
THe white iris: my "boss" (and very good friend - we like to call her Boss Lady) gifted a bit of these white iris to the client. THey came from her mother's garden. WOW....after 3 years, they have spread and are just in their glory in this garden.
LOL, Marky Mark can be seen pruning some tree in the background....
Lovely steps from pool area up to patio....
THis is just a quick sample from this property. I'll take more next time we are there. The fun is that the flowering and leaf colors are constantly changing, this garden is just a gem.
