A Massive rhubarb flowerm
New dandelion flowers appeared but it was easy and fast to remove them all. We rooted out a few dozen of the largest ones and put them in the brown box near the tulips.
I went to the supermarket today and noticed that the pick'n'mix sweets were back on sale today. They were gone for about two and a half months. Restaurants and pubs were allowed to open today. Terraces were packed around the country thanks to the good weather. Alcohol sales must stop at 10 pm. Museums, libraries and other public indoor spaces such as sports halls will be opened in stages. Sports series and competitions will be allowed to continue with special arrangements. Gatherings of over 500 will remain banned until July 31.
I also went to a gardening + home improvement store to look for a biodegradable moss remover to clear the moss growing in parts of our driveway. It grows between the tiles. It could be brushed off manually but that would be a lot of work. I could use a brush with an electric motor but that could leave marks on the tiles and the thing would cost about €160. Also, I might have to put additional sand between the tiles. A pressure washer could be used to wash the tiles and remove the moss quickly but even a medium powered pressure washer costs about €300 to €400. A pressure washer could be used for other things as well but we have no other needs. The cars can be taken to a car wash when needed. I'd rather solve the problem once and for all by killing the moss by dousing it with a biodegradable remover, which should kill the entire organism, not just the visible parts, and make it easy to brush off once it dries out.
I was talking to a salesperson when I noticed a another customer waiting to be served and asked if he just had a quick question. It turns out that he had tried to remove algae from a felt roof with the same remover that I considered buying a five liter canister of and that it had not worked. I decided to buy a smaller amount of the remover or another similar product (they didn't have them in smaller canisters or bottles) to try if it works. I'm going to try other stores.

This is where all the garden waste goes.
And this is where it ends up. This is a bioreactor that produces methane gas from the waste.
