Hello everyone!
I am sharing a type of tubular cactus that I got from my german girlfriend who lives in Southern Spain. I´ve google this for its name but I didn´t see what variety this is. At any rate, when we visited Edith , a retired university assistant, I asked her whether I could have some stalks to bring along to Vienna. I was told that the mother cactus, image of which is below is very old and must have been more than 20 years old in the pot and basically needs only little water. Although I saw so many brown stalks , she said that it is healthy.
And so I cut some 5 stalks and when I arrived in Vienna, I planted it in a pot a year ago and see how it´s thriving now!I´m watering it 2 times a week and somehow, this variety likes more water than the rest of my cactus.
This is bringing me a lot of joy to see how it flourished in just a year after planting. Hubby says that I have the green thumbs in the family... and having him said that, I am über happy since this cactus brings great vibes in my craft room.
HAPPY TUESDAY !!!
