Announcing the winners of the 🌺 SteemIt Community Garden Journal Challenge for March. Thanks to everyone for the amazing response.
The Challenge
I guess I should have seen it coming. After all - March is a busy month for a whole lot of gardeners throughout the world. I should check all previous editions to be 100% sure, but I think I won't be far off when I say that this was the most successful edition so far.
There were no less than 16 official entry posts this month, and a couple more people shared something about their garden in the comments section of the contest post.
You can find all entries in the comments section of the official contest post: 🌺 SteemIt Community Garden Journal Challenge - March
Just like every month, I really enjoyed reading all those garden journals and seeing all those pictures. It felt like I got one birthday present after another, that's how much those posts mean to me.
The Contestants
Once again, I had the pleasure to read some updates written by recurring contestants, and have met a couple of new people and their gardens at the same time.
A big thanks to everyone who participated this time and showed us their March update.

, it is because of you that I can keep this contest alive.
I really enjoyed reading everyone’s posts. Again, the entries were of different varieties: we could see summer gardens, winter gardens, indoor gardens... I could simply feel the enthusiasm and the love for greenery. Once again, I fell in love with everyone’s story...
I'm sorry I failed to leave you all a decent comment, but I feel so incredibly tired these last couple of days. I assure you I did read every single post and enjoyed it to the fullest.
If you love your garden - no matter how big or how small it is - I probably won’t have to tell you that you are all winners.
If you’re a bit like me you know how easy instant happiness can be: a flower that blooms, a delicious, homegrown fruit to pick, finding a ladybug walking around... They don’t come any better than that, right?!
The Winners
I'm getting used to the fact that it is very difficult to decide who I will reward with the SBD prizes. If I could have it my way, you would all win first prize, but if I start doing that every month, I'll be broke before I know it...
I'd love to give you all an explanation of why I chose the posts I chose, but to be honest... I'm already forcing myself to get out this post, even though it is only a template I need to edit a little. I don't know what is going on, but I think I have never felt like I had as little energy as I do today.
I have all these amazing pictures of my own garden on my phone, ready to be posted. I want to share them with you so badly, but getting up that post feels like climbing the Mount Everest at the moment...
So forgive me for keeping it short.
Anyway, time to announce the winners of the March-edition of the 🌺 SteemIt Community Garden Journal Challenge.
The winners are...

's Gardenjournal in the Eco-village - March!
How could I not select your post as one of the prize winners, ? You guys have put in such a tremendous amount of work that it is almost hard to believe that this is the same piece of land you showed us a couple of months ago. For those who have missed the first posts, let me invite you to read the first two updates: 'Ground Zero! Pictures and updates from the eco village project' and 'Garden Journal 2018 - Starting from Scratch!' - the last one is only 3 months old, by the way.
I really had a hard time deciding which other post I would be awarding with the prize. I looked at all of them over and over again, not being able to make up my mind. There were so many awesome photos...
I thought long and hard, and went back and forth, ... I think it has never been as difficult as it was this month, but in the end, I simply had to make a decision...
The second winner of this month is
's Farm update, March 2019 (and some bad news).
Such a sad story about those olive trees, but also - once again - an amazing series of beautiful pictures.
Congratulations to both. It was a really close call this time.
I've sent your prizes to your wallets.
Keep Posting Garden Updates
This was the third edition of the #gardenjournal2019 challenge. Thanks to everyone who joined.
Since April is a month in which things really get going in the Northern Hemisphere, I hope to see all of you again in about week or 2, to show me what you are up to!
TIP: If you want to make sure you don't miss out, you can add the #gardenjournal2019 tag to Ginabot on Discord. She'll then notify you whenever a new post with the tag is published. Or you can subscribe to my RSS feed or my newsletter - you'll find both links underneath my signature.
