A swan cloud we saw on our way to Lowe’s one day. It had been crisper and more defined, but we had to wait until a stoplight to get a photo.
Tag sales Saturday morning only netted us a haul of electrical outlets for $8, new in packages, and this cobalt bottle from Canada. I collect cobalt glass and this was a nice addition.
I went out to the Big garden Saturday afternoon and finished up what mulching I could do. This garden is ⅓ mulched now.
I had weeded the small stuff out of the rest of the cleared area up until I hit the tall stuff that had grown up, then quit on Friday. So I picked up where I left off and pulled all the tall stuff out all the way to the fence. That was all the energy I had left, as it was my turn to cook supper. So I left it at that.
Today I hope to finish the rest of the weeding in this area, as it will be cool and cloudy most of the day. I also hope to get it mulched, but that might be dreaming…
I don’t know if I will get back into this garden during the next week, as I have so much prep to do for Freezer camp. The weather is perfect for gardening until Tuesday, though. So I hope I can get the mulching done, so the weeds don’t have a chance…
