A photo journal of growing my Beefsteak Tomatoes.
Before planting
I used some recyclables at the bottom of the pot for good drainage and to keep the pot light weight.
I gently, roughed up the roots on the bottom so they would adapt to the new pot.
I used a potting mix suitable for containers with some Blood & bone mixed in throught the soil.
I added Tomatoe cages as this type of Tomatoe plant is Indeterminate and needs support while it grows.
I moved the Tomatoes to where I am putting together my container garden.
After a while in the container garden area I decided to move them to the sunnier side. They are loving the extra sun! This is what they look like so far. I am starting to see some flowers forming. I can't wait to show you some soon.
