Spent a heart felt afternoon on a boat, really a small yacht, while just inside it's berth, sun beating down, gentle breezes, water all around, good food, some wine, great conversation, and a welcome reprieve from the private and sometimes lonely concerns we all have about what is happening right now on the global scheme, and what it means to all of our futures.
This afternoon in paradise didn't resolve anything, but the one thing that we each shared were all our concerns about the greater trajectory our world is being driven towards, and all like-minded in knowing that we are each facing tough times ahead. Everyone in this small group has done their homework, and that gave great solace in just being able to share all or our mutual concerns. We had some amazing discussion and mutual discourse. For me, it was very self-affirming that I am not alone.
And then, some of us shared our personal stories, about our own lives, and even some tears were shed when we each were in such a safe place to talk about anything we needed to talk about!
I have missed those moments, when it seems I had lost so many before who didn't want to face "reality" and what we are all facing.
Oh, and we all decided, we ain't afraid! Death is just another passage into another dimension. So, bring it on, MFs! You won't win!
