Very recently I just happened to be walking along the sand when I saw a site that I had not seen before. One lone parked surfboard on its ownsome. It caught my attention, I was intrigued. I looked around to see if the surfer was nearby but apart from seeing some spectators on the viewing deck there was no surfer that I could see. I was hoping he did not mind me taking a couple of pics as I could not let such a photo moment pass me by! And to me the waiting surfboard said so much.
Was this surfer having a little food break? Was he sitting nearby waiting for friends or for the surf to improve? (I was assuming the surfer was one of the lads enjoying the waves when I arrived on the beach an hour ago.) He was obviously planning to come back given the fact that he left his board. Definitely a trusting soul.
Taking one more photo from another angle, looking up to the sand dunes, trees and resorts for good measure before I kept strolling along. I would have liked to stay and see the surfer return but when that would be was anybody's guess and it was time for brunch and a coffee.
it was a perfect morning to go walking with the overcast sky and hard wet sand. How I love the beauty of an ocean beach in this kind of weather.
Sending everyone joy
Cheers and blessings

Here is a pretty flower growing in a sand dune snapped at a different time. Always a flower opportunity to add to the beauty of a post. I never let a flower chance go by
